When I set out to bring the Lil Missy Doll brand to life, I knew that a great website would be key. After all, what’s the point of creating endless customization options if no one can easily find them, right? So, several months ago, I hired a professional to help me get started. She helped me choose colors, fonts, and gave me a solid foundation. But here’s the thing—I didn’t want just any website. I wanted something special. Something that would showcase all the wonderful options Lil Missy fans have when it comes to personalizing their dolls.

And let’s just say, I had a lot of ideas. More ideas than any self-respecting web designer would dare to take on. (Oops?) So, what did I do? I enlisted my incredibly talented husband, and together, we embarked on the journey of bringing those ideas to life.

Here’s the catch: I’m not a website developer. So figuring out how to program the site? Yeah, that was an adventure. Sections, blocks, pages—what even are they? Each little piece had to fit just right, and every time I thought I’d figured something out, there was something new to tackle. Not to mention, the photos all had to be the right size, and the backgrounds had to match perfectly across the site. Let’s just say it was a lot more than I bargained for.

We’ve been busy adding all the customization options that make Lil Missy Dolls so unique. Just the head choices alone can reach over 100 different combinations. But that’s just the beginning! Purses, bracelets, pets, hats, musical instruments, zodiac signs, flowers, capes—the list goes on. We’re still working to get all of these fantastic options live on the site, but we’ve got a good start.

Now, the challenge is managing the inventory—because let’s face it, if I can’t find the tiny gold bracelet or that perfect purse when I need it, it doesn’t do much good! But hey, one step at a time. The Lil Missy world is growing, and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you all.
